Sources

Technical details such as bulb bases, light output and colour temperature come from manufacturers' specifications, standards bodies and government energy-rating information. Measurements such as hanging heights are rules of thumb used by lighting designers; we say so, and we explain when to break them.

Independence

No brand pays to appear on the site and we do not use affiliate links. Photographs come from free stock libraries and are credited to their photographers.

Corrections
